I don't expect that being deaf will be fun, but going deaf sort of is.
Misheard statements are a rich source of humor. Just now the radio announced "slug warnings from the Northwest to the Gulf Coast". At least that's what I heard. hehe

If that suggests that the 'danger zone' is below a diagonal line drawn from Dani to the tip of Florida, then I can live with it. ( :
For what it's worth, sometimes at work I realize that I'm still wearing my serious hearing protection an hour or two after I've finished a loud 30 second procedure. Finally figured out that I wasn't being forgetful, and just enjoyed the wonderful sense of calm that came from getting rid of the 'loudness' of everyday life. |

I'm trying to remember if I ever had a slug cookbook. Or if I was only told about one. From when my bro lived in Washington State.
Do you think a person could hear a herd of slugs coming up behind him? Would there be any scraping slurping sounds? eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww I just grossed me out bad. |

Recipes involving slugs? Would salt be kosher?
Next thought will probably turn out to be one of those embarassingly obvious things, but right now I'm really wondering about the slug-sound question. You want to think that a bazillion little things each making an incredibly soft noise would be a lot louder than one of them. But would it? I don't think sound adds up quite that way, but don't know why. |

lol...although I've heard that salt kills a slug and beer does too, I've never actually seen the beer used...
